My favourite TV shows are The Block NZ and The Amazing Race.
The Block
The Block's first season just finished. The aim of the game is to renovate a house in 11 weeks, The bathroom, Kitchen, Front Garden, Backyard Study/Kids room, Master-bedroom and ensuite and the laundry. There are 4 couples competing Libby and Ben, Ginny and Reese, Rachel and Tyson and Richard and Sarah. Overall Libby and Ben had the most wins in the inside of the house and Richard and Arab winning back and front yard, using Richards landscaping experience. Rachel and Tyson with only wining one room. The show was based in Auckland on Anzac st in Takapuna.
The was hosted by Mark Richardson a former Black Cap player and Shannon Ryan as challenge presenter. Each couple will keep any profits made and the team with the most profit wins The Block and 80 thousand dollars. The season started on July the 4th. The show was on tv 3
Amazing Race
The Amazing Race Family edition just finished. There are 10 families competing consisting 4 family members in each team. In this edition they stay mainly in North America in 25 days they visited 12 states and 50 cities they traveled 18,000km and visited 4 countries in the final 3 were The Linz family, Weaver family and the Bransen family who were competing for 1 million dollars. Throughout the race the Weavers struggled to make friends and they thought everyone was against them. They started being rude to everyone. Their father died on a race track and there were 2 challenges involving being on a race track. The Linz Family consisted o f 3 brothers Nick,Alex,Megan and Tommy. Meagan struggled to keep up with her brothers. The show was filmed in 2005 and now was Vibe this year. The last show was rated no.1 in Canada. I love the Amazing race not just the family addition. I could never spend 600 consecutive hours with my family. My favorite part is seeing all the countries around the world and how they operate.
I really recommended theese shows so remember Vibe at 7:10am weekdays for the Amazing Race.
